ABSTRACT

Travel application is one way to support the industries focusing on travel by providing interfaces among tourists. Chatbots eliminate redundancy among a number of applications with different functionalities but have the same travel content. This system takes action on compressing all the needed functionalities in one application. The study focuses on providing support to clients or tourists who have inquiries about visiting the Botolan. Through the Guidex bot, there will be an efficient way to search locations and do inquiries regarding the Botolan with the use of devices that are capable of browsing the internet. The application was developed through a waterfall model and adopted the questionnaire that are based on the software quality of the system, the level of acceptability of user-respondents on the system, and the level of readiness for the implementation of the system which is the ISO/IEC 25010. The analysis of the study revealed that the Guidex bot was “Good” in terms of functional suitability and reliability and “Excellent” in terms of performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, security, maintainability, and portability. Thus, determining the relevance of the Guidex bot involves implementation with proper standard procedure and was strongly suggested to be utilized by the beneficiaries and not just for research purposes. Furthermore, improvements and upgrades are also suggested for the sustainability of the system.
